My deepest sympathies to Carolas family and friends.
I met Carola when she joined the Micro Enterprise program of My Sisters Place
I was ( now retired) the coordinator of the program, and remember how excited she was to share her love of art with the team.
Carola brought so much joy to the program with her beautiful positive spirit. Always eager to help at sales, encourage and support her sistas’ .
In her first year at ME Carola gave me a small cedar tree, dressed like an elf. I planted this tree in my yard and it stands 4’ now. We have always called it our Carola tree.
She will be greatly missed. 🙏❤️

Another Angel has entered the heavens. Very sad to lose her too soon. I’m glad that I got to have a lovely visit with her when she came out to visit us recently in Cochrane/Chestermere. Every year she would send a beautiful handmade Christmas ornament for our tree. She will always be in our hearts especially at Christmas. I love you Auntie La-La xo
