Peacefully at LHSC – University Hospital on May 24, 2026 at the age of 67.  Cherished husband of Jean (Keays) Holton for over 42 years. Loving stepfather of Casey James and Evelyne Zacek of Port Credit and proud grandfather of Chole and Danielle. Fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Margaret (Roper) Holton. Michael dedicated many years of his life to supporting children and families through his compassionate and longstanding career in family and children’s counselling service. Passed away peacefully at Parkwood Institute, London on Friday, May 15, 2026 after a brief journey with cancer. Fred was the most devoted husband to the love of his life, Phyllis (nee Pennell), a supportive parent to Janet (Jim) Beretta and Jacquelyn and a cheerful friend to those in all the places he lived. Passed away peacefully at LHSC – University Hospital on Monday, May 11, 2026, at the age of 75. Cherished husband of Bev Simpson for 13 years. Loving dad to Laura Cole. Deeply missed stepdad of Nicole Loft. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Janice Boles (Marvin), and Don Cole (Marlene). Fondly remembered by his nieces, Sarah and Amy. Sorely missed by his brother-in-law, Wayne Simpson and sister-in-law Jeanette Stevens. Predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Gladys Cole. Keeping with Neil’s wishes, cremation has taken place. It is with deep sadness and much love that we mourn the passing of Richard “Rick” George Bannister. Following a battle with esophageal cancer, Rick passed on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at St Joseph’s Hospice of London at age 83 with family by his side. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lynne Bannister (nee Connelly), his children Andrea (Mark), Laurie (Pat), Shelley (Eric), and his grandchildren Sawyer, Charlotte, Elliot, Marco, and Gabriella.
