It is with profound sadness that the family of Roy James Krulicki announce his peaceful passing on December 25, 2021 at the age of 84 years. Roy will be lovingly remembered by his wife and life partner of 64 years, Helen (Peters). His memory will be kept alive by his adoring children Ron (Yvonne Payne), Brenda (Dave Cziraki) and Byron. Predeceased by daughter Susan (Dave Hannusch) (1962 – 2013). He will be missed by sister Yvonne (Larry Miller). Lovingly cherished by grandchildren Tara (TJ), Trina (Jeff), Zach, Alex, and Victoria (Ben), great-granddaughters Kiera, Taylor, Tiffany and Téa, great-great grandson Jasper. Special mention to the Hart family (Ray, Anne, and Theresa and their families), Delorse Aube and her family, Sophie Peters and her family, the extended Krulicki family, the extended Peters family, the Payne family, the Cziraki family, and friends of the family for their kind words of support. Predeceased by parents Eugene and Margaret (Buddenhagen). Predeceased by sister Joan Hart and brother-in-law Ray Hart. Roy was a prolific landscape artist who produced several oil paintings as treasured gifts for family members that evoked special memories. Roy took solace in nature, enjoying many camping and fishing trips with family. Roy and Helen retired in their dream beach home he helped construct in Bayfield on the shores of Lake Huron which created cherished memories for family members. Cox’s Cove, Newfoundland was also a special destination for Roy and Helen. We take comfort in knowing that Roy is now at peace surrounded by light, with a paint brush in hand. Special thank you to Dr. Gill and staff at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and a private mass will be held for close family members. A celebration of life will be held at a future date. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
