Passed away peacefully with family by his side at St. Joseph’s Hospice of London on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Loving partner of Debbie Jonah for 50 years. Cherished father of Adele and Darryl Smith of London, and Bradley and Pamela Jonah of Parkhill. Proud grandpa of Dylan; Mikaila, Brittany, Anthony, and Austin and “grampy” to his great-granddaughter Julia. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Brian and Nancy Jonah of Ottawa, and Dan and June Wile of Sarnia and son-in-law of Mary and Royce Wile. Steve will be fondly remembered by Garth and Mary Jonah of Welland and his many nieces and nephews.
Steve recently retired after many proud years working at General Dynamics. He was an avid racing fan and loved to be in his shop tinkering on cars with his son Brad. Together, he and Deb enjoyed camping and taking in the outdoors.
A celebration of Steve’s life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
