Peacefully at LHSC- Victoria Hospital, London on Friday, March 14, 2025 of London and formerly of St. Williams at the age of 76. Loving wife of the late Walter ‘Wally’ Butts (2021) for over 49 years. Beloved mother of Kelly and Jay Christensen, and Leslie and Brock Nicol. Proud grandmother of Ava Christensen. Very special sister to late Roger (2021) and Brenda Macaulay, Allan and Jill Macaulay, Mary Jane and Dan Gould, and Greg and Janet Macaulay. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Jan’s life will be held at a later date. Details will be updated as soon as they are available.
Donations to Arthritis Society of Canada or the Walsingham Women’s Institute would be appreciated by the family.

Dear Kelly, Leslie and their families, Bob and I are so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was a great friend and cousin! We had many good times at family get togethers in Oakland, and remembering 4-H meetings where we all learned to sew, cook and entertain as we became young women. Such fond memories of a lovely lady.

I am so sorry to hear about Jan’s passing. She was a true friend to everyone at Grand Wood Park, always bringing a smile and warmth to those around her. Jan will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
