Should you wish to have a Celebration of Life, we will happily assist you in selecting the appropriate venue for your needs, wishes and most importantly budget.   We believe that your budget should not dictate our degree of professionalism. We promise to deliver the services you want, and only those services (there are no cumbersome packages) with integrity. We do not sell on commission or subcontract our work. We promise to honour your wishes, and respect your budget.  

We are equipped with the appropriate technology to print death certificates, government forms, and any necessary authorizations, often eliminating waiting periods, and errors. Our cremations are performed at our crematorium.

While we don't love the word "cheap", we recognize that it's an accurate way to express a sentiment. You don't want to be overcharged for a simple service; you don't want to be subjected to price "packages" that include unnecessary extras; you don't want to be surprised by add-ons. Our pricing is clearly outlined, and you are encouraged to use only the services you want. We are pleased to offer pre-planning assistance at no charge.  Cremation & Celebrations is not a traditional funeral home. We do not have costly chapels, visitations suites, reception lounges, or other frills. We do offer a comfortable setting for meeting and our expertise to assist families after a loved one's death, or in pre-planning your wishes. Please contact us to arrange a meeting. A celebration of life should reflect the individual. It's purpose is to reflect on a person's life, and help friends and family to move towards healing. Today, there are many more options for remembering a loved one at the end of life. But no matter the form of celebration, no matter how "simple" the wishes, we believe that neither professionalism nor integrity should be sacrificed. Every member of our team believes you should always treat others as you would expect to be treated.

You may be surprised to know that choosing cremation does not limit your choices for a celebration of life. It does not eliminate a funeral servicel. Prior to the cremation, your loved one will held in our climate controlled holding area at our crematorium. Cremated remains are usually placed in an urn before being committed to a final resting place (an existing family plot, or a columbarium), or scattered.  Preplanning a funeral should be considered a fundamental part of your estate planning. It is the process of making choices before death occurs, laying out such details as the type of service you want, your preference for cremation or earth burial, your selection of special readings or music, and how you would choose your life to be honoured by family and friends. Preplanning your funeral will relieve some of the stress your family might otherwise experience.
