An Indian Farewell
“Until we meet again may the Great Spirit make sunshine in your heart and may your moccasins make tracks to many snows yet to come.”
Jean and John Lochead says
We were pleased to know Robert’s and his faithful work for Trinity. His work was essential to many of the congregations activities. He worked quietly and efficiently.
I developed a friendship with him and was pleased to talk with him by phone in the early days of his health problems.
We send Monica and her family our most sincere message of sympathy.
Katharine Edmonstone says
It was always a relief for me when Robert was sitting on the steps leading from the parking lot at Trinity. If ever there was something I needed (including a cup of coffee) he had it ready or knew where it was.
A really great guy.

What a great guy he was. Always in a pleasant mood. We knew him from his time at Trinity and he was always ready to help. Best wishes to his family. He will be missed.

I used to be a member of Trinity United Church when Robert was the custodian. We worked together on a lot of matters for a number of years up until about ten years ago. I knew Robert as a kind and caring man. He radiated love. I recall his introducing me to a young boy who was either his son or grandson. I know that Robert is resting in peace.

Dear Monica and family we were so saddened to hear of Rob,s passing! Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time! Rob was a great guy and we were able to spend an afternoon with him at your birthday party Monica that we thoroughly enjoyed! We didn’t get to see him often enough but he was always in good spirits when we did despite his illness! He sure put up a good fight! Cherish all the many wonderful memories you have of Rob and hopefully it will give you and your family some comfort! God has gained another angel to watch over you 💔

Rob and I shared a lot of good laughs together, we enjoyed watching leaf games, we enjoyed times at the trailer. Rob was especially touched by a call I made to him on his birthday that he brought me some nice antiques yard sticks he scored at yard sale ! He was quite fond of those it seemed. Rob will be missed by his Grandson Casey who really enjoyed Robs generous Gifts and thoughtful care he took to make Christmas special. Let God Bless Rob into his Heaven so that we shall meet again. Jonathan, Casey of Ottawa
